The Victorian Mansion

S.K.Pierce Mansion in Gardner, also known as "The Victorian"

"certified" haunted by numerous mediums and paranormal researchers.

The former mansion (circa 1875) of chair manufacturer, S.K. Pierce in South Gardner has been "certified" haunted by dozens of mediums and paranormal researchers. This includes the spirit of a nineteen year old female servant from the late 19th Century, a man who perished in a fire at the house in 1963 and a little boy who often visited the mansion, none of which resided there. Footsteps, Orbs, and Spirits in Shadow can often be heard and seen throughout the mansion's 26 rooms, and they seem to be there to protect the property. Unlike many other haunted places who's owners prefer privacy, The Haunted Victorian is open to the public for weekly tours, investigations and on-going events. Although you will find activity on every floor, the third floor reports the majority of the activity; the former servants' quarters.

   Located in Gardner, Massachusetts

The mansion was a stopping place for New York elite as they traveled to New Hampshire and Vermont in the Gilded Age. The home hosted the likes of President Calvin Coolidge, P.T. Barnum and Norman Rockwell.
